My 8 1/2 lb. precious-baby boy is 9 years young today! Here's the story of his arrival!
A week before my "due date," he so quickly arrived! Ha! I was aiming for the first baby of the millennium! I was way off! I started to feel a little pressure Dec. 21st 1999- as so many of us do this time of year (hee-hee)!! Well, about 11:30 pm i told Justin that maybe we should go ahead and drop Jocelyn off at a friends house and head to the hospital (a 20 minute drive). He made some arrangements for work, we dropped Jocelyn off and then Justin realized that he forgot to leave a key to his truck back at our home. Well, no biggie (i thought)! By the time we actually left our house it was midnight (Dec. 22nd). On our way to the hospital i was "in the zone!" I wasn't talking and Justin thought he'd need to pull over on the freeway. He told me i shook my head at the idea. We checked into the hospital after a fun detour through the emergency room because they were remodeling, so by the time the nurses checked me i was dilated to 9 cm. All i remember at that point was everyone running around! They kept telling me not to push (yah!)- Finally my dear Dr. showed up (in his pj's)- broke my water- 2 pushes and Jayton Wade Hall was here- born Dec. 22, 1999 at 1:16 am. I couldn't believe how fast he came! It sure fits his personality even today. He's always on the go! First thing we noticed were his hands! Justin called 'em paddles! We figured he would be tall and thought maybe he should like sports too! Well....he's already trying on my athletic shoes saying, "Mom look! They almost fit!" This morning i asked him how he felt, since it was his birthday. He says, "Actually, i feel taller!" He went on to say, "When i woke up this morning i felt a little dizzy and then i looked at the ground and thought- wow i feel taller!" I love it! He's growing into a handsome young man! He loves camouflage green, food all day long (kinda like the rest of us!), he adores his baby sister, he loves babies (he'll be a terrific dad someday!)! He's fascinated with camping, scouting, shooting, football, soccer, bmx riding, the military, skateboarding, karate...etc, etc, etc! It's whatever is on the menu for the day! I love you Jayton! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Happy Birthday Jayton!
What a cutie! Happy birthday Jayton! And, what a great story of his arrival - you cut it very close!
Happy Birthday Jayton! I can't believe he is already 9 that means Kenzie is almost 9 too. It is so fun to have their birthdays close together. That was a fun time being prego together and then having them so close. You have an awesome son! I hope he had a great birthday, sorry we didn't call we remembered just let the day slip by. I am glad he is part of our family!
Happy Birthday Jayton. Michelle isn't it amazing how fast the grow up. Some times I wish I could keep them small forever. But then we would miss out on them growing up and being our best friends. That's how I feel about my mom atleast.

Michelle,
I love Jayton. You have great kids. You could tell they are being raised right. Jacob came almost that fast. Love you guys!
Happy B-day Jayton! I hope he had a wonderful birthday. I find mom's birth stories so interesting. I know exactly what you're talking about cause I also arrived at the hospital at 9 cm and had everyone running around! Your story brought back some memories!
That's so cute you noticed his hands, I love little baby boy hands they are so different from girls! They are thicker and bigger then the girls it's so cute! Just the way boy hands should be.
