'Day'cations!

Just wanted to post some pictures of our last couple day trips (aka field trips)! We enjoyed a few moments at the annual "Greer Days!" It was sooooo windy, but hey we created some memories! We arrived, stayed to see the parade and then took off to spend the day at Big Lake. I love traveling and vacationing! Yesterday we decided it was a great day to take the kiddos to the Petrified Forest/Painted Desert. Pretty neat National Park. I was raised up here on this mountain and i'd never been there! It's only about an hour away. I've never been to the Grand Canyon either... that's one of our next stops!!! Enjoy!

I was having Jerika (my 2 y/o) repeat back to me all of her siblings names. I went from oldest to youngest and when i asked her to say her own name, she said, "No, that's MINE!"

Jocelyn who tends to be a smart aleck (guess where that comes from??) hears me call her dad, hon (honey) often! The other day i said hey, hon~ would you do something for me? Before he could answer, Jocelyn with her quick wit replies, "Yeah Atilla!" She had no idea who Atilla the Hun was (we did explain)!!

Jett says, "Mom, Jayton yelled at me!" Mom says, "Jayton please don't yell at Jett!" Jett says, "Mom don't yell at my brother Jayton!"

While driving in the car we were playing the alphabet game where you name something according to the letter given. We were doing sibling characteristic traits. It was Jori's turn and she had the letter 'C'. She said, "Jett's Courageous!" He immediately replied in an angry tone, "Jori~ that's for girls!"
