Along with my personal journal, i've decided to post regularly here on our family blog. I feel a little exposed when i send out general emails, but on here, i can say what's on my mind and/or heart without feeling guilty! It's easier to come to my blog and jot down my thoughts as i feel prompted as opposed to typing out really long emails & sending them out to my "address book!" Plus, i have this blog set to private and it makes me feel "safer." I like to share personal things, but feeling for a while now that email and facebook are not the places for it. I just needed an outlet and suddenly realized that this IS the place! It'll be up to you now to come here to see what's going on in our lives, then it's on YOU and not me.........phew, the pressure is off! Sorry about the inconvenience, I just want to continue to simplify as much as i can, at the same time have you be involved (if you so choose) in our beautiful journey!

I love to hear updates about your family. It makes it seem like we're not so far apart. I miss seeing you so this is nice to be able to keep up with you and the family. I know we all have crazy lives, but it's nice to be able to check in on you through blogging :) Keep it up!
Thanks Michelle for inviting me in to your life. Your family really inspires me with your amazing attitude! As a recent convert to the church I don't have the insight you seem to and I often loose sight of what is important, I get caught up in my own drama. I think you and your husband are just the best, so very amazing to take the leap of faith you guys have taken. I have so much respect for you both. Your kids will surely learn so much from this time in their lives!
Keep the inspiration coming, I hate it when I loose sight of the truley important things in life!
On another note, my boys and I have been staying with my mom while I have been having some medical problems the last few months and Mr. Reiger, the principal from Blue Ridge I think Elementry school lives down the road and was hospitalized recently. We took the opportunity to help his wife out (and my 10 year old saved my life on the way home from her house..... I think the independent is doing a story on him tomorrow.... great for someone like me who JUST wants to blend into the background!!!) but it made me think of your dad and I wanted to tell you that I always loved your dad! He is an amazing man!
