What a fun ride it has been for our family! We welcomed Justin (Dad) home after 2 months of basic training. They shut the base down for Christmas & New Years, so we were able to have him home for 2 weeks! What a treat! When he arrived we stayed in a hotel for about 5 days (yes, with our kids) just to talk and play! We ate tons of junk food, went to the movies, shopped and visited the Mesa Temple to see the Christmas lights! After we drove back up to Lakeside (where we are currently living) we welcomed the snow, celebrated Jayton's 10th birthday, celebrated the birth of Christ with gifts and love, and ushered in a New Year!!! The start of 2010 will always be a special time for us! Then, sadly enough we had to see Justin (Dad) leave again. He'll finish up basic training in 3 weeks and then he's off to Annapolis Maryland for advanced training. He'll be gone until May. I'm hoping to go visit him this spring...if not at his graduations. He's been nominated for some pretty amazing awards at basic...so i'll keep ya posted on that and some other details.

Oh Michelle. It looks like you and the kiddos had a WONDERFUL time with Justin. So happy you had him home for the holidays, and a white Christmas at that! The kids are growing like weeds lately (and the dog too... he's huge). Love you guys!
